Vasyl Kostyuk Foundation Begins Collaboration with Youth Organization ‘Heritage’
The Vasyl Kostyuk Charitable Foundation has begun a partnership with the Ukrainian Youth Association ‘Spadshchyna’ — one of the oldest patriotic youth organizations in Lviv. The collaboration will focus on supporting Ukrainian youth, patriotic education, and promoting national history and culture.
The beginning of the partnership was announced by UYA ‘Spadshchyna’ on its Facebook page.
Under the agreements, the Vasyl Kostyuk Foundation will support the programs and initiatives of the organization, including youth events, historical and educational projects, and activities aimed at developing leadership qualities, personal responsibility, and active citizenship.
The founder of the Charitable Foundation, Vasyl Kostyuk, emphasized that investing in youth is an important component of Ukraine’s future.
‘We want to support initiatives that invest primarily in people. A strong Ukraine begins with young, educated, healthy, and responsible citizens who know their own history, preserve traditions, and are ready to take responsibility for the country’s future. That is why it is important for us to support ‘Spadshchyna’ and help the organization expand its opportunities for the development of Ukrainian youth,’ Vasyl Kostyuk noted.
‘Spadshchyna’: Nearly four decades of work with youth
The Ukrainian Youth Association ‘Spadshchyna’ was founded in Lviv in 1988. One of its founders and its first head was Andriy Parubiy, who later became the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from 2016 to 2019.
In the first 30 years of its activity, the organization conducted over 220 youth camps. Today, its work also includes trips, historical and educational, and cultural events aimed at acquainting the young generation with Ukrainian history, traditions, and national heritage.
